As much as it is late and I should go to bed... tonight, I will give points.
The discussion focusses around a very fashionably dressed young woman waiting for the bus with me.
So: Fashionable Bus Stop Girl
Points:
I started it!: 10 points
Length: definitely more than 5 minutes: 10 points
At bus stop: 15 points
Comfort zone... I guess she was, although she looked like the kind of person I usually consider to be too cool to talk to me, that's not what the comfort zone means...: 2 points
Total: 37 points.
Not bad.
What I learned: I look like a rockstar/moviestar whose name cannot be recalled. (I can't imagine who this unfortunate star would be...)

Hiatuses (Hiates?) Need to Stop
I don't deny that I'm bad at this.
Too lazy to do points ce soir, but I must end the bleak and empty series of non-existant posts!
SO, this evening, went to hear Rob Bell. I got there before any of my friends, and talked to, and then sat with the person I stood in line with... she was quite nice. Mega points.
What I learned: I am not the only one who will avoid Leviticus when given the chance.
ALSO: while saying "Hey, I'm alone and bored, can I make friends?" will win you points with some groups of people, sometimes you will only get one individual. But hey, it worked.
ALSO ALSO: I ended the evening by saying "Bye person I haven't met," to the friend of a friend. He seemed a little confused, but introduced himself. I believe this to be a demonstration of my new approach to life: fully embrace my awkwardness, and wear it like a badge to be pointed at and mocked (by me). At best, I would consider this approach to be quirky and endearing. At worst, it's probably some kind of very poor coping mechanism.
Ah well. Here's hoping for the latter.
